Re: Finally a launcher for all portable programs?

Thank you for explaining this. Having to download my apps again, and to set them up is quite a task for me right now. I would appreciate it if Symenu was a little bit more flexible to the way it handles SPS. Instead of having to set-up my apps again to use them with a specific launcher, i'd like to ...

Re: Finally a launcher for all portable programs?

Can we somehow link an entry in the Symenu with it's entry in the SPS suite? For example, let's say i have 50 portable apps downloaded. I can add them to Symenu, and use it as my launcher. Can i link my downloaded apps to their equivalent SPS entry, so that Symenu can update them? If i'm not mistake...

Re: Slimjet

I haven't made the move to x64 in any of the browsers i'm using/testing (firefox, slimjet, vivaldi). Currently i use firefox as my main browser, and moving to a chromium-based one as my main browser is simply out of the question, as of now. I'll suggest the usual, why don't you try the latest firefo...

Re: Slimjet

Pretty impressive. Fast, lightweight, lots of functions out-of-the-box.
A nice alternative - especially if you are low on ram

Re: Deluge (torrent client)

Awesome, Midas.
However, i'm not aware of any registry entries myself.
Giulia asked about the registry, i've just replied to him/her, perhaps he/she could clarify a bit more.

Re: Deluge (torrent client)

I haven't tested it, but if you're launching Deluge with a batch file, you might be able to change that location with a local variable. So, assuming your batch is inside Deluge 's folder and there's a ' config ' sub-folder, you could have this in your batch: SET APPDATA=%~dp0\config For this to wor...

Re: Deluge (torrent client)

How to handle plugins (egg files) portable :?: They are at: %APPDATA%\deluge\plugins There is a way to make Deluge store everything in its own folder, but it doesn't make it truly portable, because you have to use absolute paths. (Didn't test it using relative paths, though) (i will use C:\Portable...

Re: Opera (Presto)

I was about to post it. Vivaldi looks very promising so far. Don't know if it will be able to replicate Opera 12's featureset, but this technical preview already looks more like Opera (12) than Opera (Blink) itself. Yes, I'm excited! :D

Yes, I have that file. But that folder is a temp folder. CCleaner will clean it. Does it matter?

Re: CDisplayEx

I've tried both installers (x86-x64) in sandboxie today. Saw no opencandy stuff in either of them. I did get the shortcuts in \user\all\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ Baas says in both of them in Sandboxie, but there are no shortcuts or any file related to CDisplay in my regular system (wher...

Re: CDisplayEx

Hi guys, thought it would be nice to share my experience with CDisplayEx ver.1.10.29 x64. I wanted to do it for quite some time, but today i saw the discussion here, so it was time. I decided to try the new version, because I found a post at their forum, Can/is CDisplayEX portable? , claiming it was...

There is a post about this issue at NirBlog : Command-line options removed from the official release of my password-recovery tools
Long story short, Google is the culprit
