Re: New apps at PA.c

@vagabond Can you start a new discussion @ http://portableapps.com/forums i agree, but only if john offers popcorn  Would be fun to follow  not sure.. really not easy to have a discussion when this statement: Liberkey is legal. Piriform gave his authorisation to the LiberKey project. ...

Re: New apps at PA.c

Once again, John T Haller take this opportunity to make propaganda against LiberKey. He attacks LiberKey on a point that was discussed in June 2010. There are traces in the Piriform forum: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=27197&st=20 and on the LiberKey forum: http://www.liberkey.co...

Re: LiberKey concerns

I'd like to make a couple points in response to vagabond's posts, if I may. grrrr... Will you let me alone a day? or at least a night ? If you think PortableApps.com uses our online installer to violate EULAs, the answer is simple: We don't. It may not be the goal, but can you prove that this is no...

Re: LiberKey concerns

(..) a common troll tactic is to use really big, unspecific, and provocative language. it reminds me of someone .. Why are you encrypting config files? the format was not ready to be open, we have prefered to hide it because it changed several times (especially the script part) it is not compiled, ...

Re: LiberKey concerns

Its important when you are accused of doing something wrong in open source to respond clearly and concisely. This is not a community that is a stranger to this type of exchange. Ok, we are not open-source, but I'll do my best to be understood by everyone. So, here are some concise responses... Inst...

I find that remark a little bit vexing  .. Why do you think this? :?

Re: LiberKey concerns

Hello all, I'll try to do my best to explain my point of vue, but keep in mind that english is far from being my native language. Google translate is my friend, but my english teacher was not. What I want to say is that all of these discussions tire me. I spent much time to code the LiberKey tools a...

Re: LiberKey - Portable sofware suite

Since the very first thing this launcher does is prompt you to automatically download a suite of illegally-packaged software, it's a very fine line to be drawn. Stop your smear campaign against LiberKey. You're the only one saying that LiberKey is illegal. LiberKey has never had a problem with soft...

Re: Which portable launcher lets you search in description?

Keep in mind that this isn't a true portablization launcher like JauntPE, WinPenPack or PortableApps.com's are. It's just a way to package software to work with the illegal LiberKey suite. It won't work on its own. As usual John, when LiberKey appears somewhere, you're there! Yes it is a true porta...
