Re: VLC 3 will be (almost) natively portable

Some good news about a VLC natively portable.
With this commit, the future VLC (branch 3.x.x) will have the ability to be natively portable.

And you can test it: http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/last/

Re: Duplicati

I am confused. Does that mean "Yes" I have to use --portable-mode every time or "Yes" it's for the first time only? Oups, you are right this short answer is confusing. Sorry  So, yes, you have to use the parameter --portable-mode every time in order to have a portable Dupl...

Re: Duplicati

(1) Do I have to launch Duplicati.exe --portable-mode from Run every time or is it for the first time only? Yes. (2) Can I create more than one backup job in Duplicati? E.g. Can I create a job to backup one folder to OneDrive then create another job to backup another folder to Google Drive? Yes, yo...

Re: gpg4usb v0.3.3-1 and v0.4-alpha released!

New alpha release 0.4 I'm currently trying your alpha version as i'm particularly interested by the ability to change the keydb path. Unfortunatly, i can't get this working. I changed the path in "settings -- Gpg paths" and even after a restart, the keys are not found. If i copy-paste the...

Re: Duplicati

Should we switch back the entry to 1.3.2 or keep update with last development snapshot version ? With backup programs, most users are looking for stability and reliability rather than features. I'd recommend we push back to 1.3.2, unless this is could be considered a late beta. Solved : 1.3.3 stabl...

Re: Duplicati

Looks portable -- saving settings to the \data folder. Not stealth -- writes a "signature cache" to the AppData folder. [...] Update : the signature cache is very useful. I modified the entry to suggest moving it to a temp folder to get stealth status. When i read you, i had some doubts b...

Excellent !!
Fresh and not overloaded design = really nice.

The ability to see full content even without javascript (what's new, favorites list...) is , imho, a nice feature.

I'm not sure if that can be applied to the current vote/rating system but does it possible for logged members to see the thumbs "rocks"/"sucks" grayed out according to their previous vote for an entry ?
