I had wanted to add this to the database last year, but forgot about it until recently when I had the need to use it again. Added to database: A Sharper Scaling This is one of those tiny app that performs one function very well. In this case, it upsizes a digital image better than conventional metho...

Server temporary outage just now

There was a temporary server outage about 1 1/2 hours ago because the VPS provider brought the server down for security update, which took close to an hour. Then when the server came up and the VPS booted, some critical services did not start up properly. Took me about 1/2 hour to notice and took co...

Re: TPFC migration

Sometimes (not always, randomly), when you login from the site, you redirected to this error page: You actually logined successfully, just didn't redirected to the previous page, but to this error page If it's random, it'll be hard to diagnose until we have more info. I just tried with Firefox and ...

Re: TPFC migration

The cert renewal process with Let's Encrypt was botched, so that has been fixed now.

Serarch is also working fine as far as I can tell. Anyone else hitting problems?

Even worser then with those damn smilies
Something is broken with the main site

Re: TPFC migration

No prob. Migration was smooth, thanks Andrew! Btw looks like the PF logo for the forum is invisible, at least for me atm. Looking at the web inspector the .site_logo in the style sheet is set to ./images/site_logo.png but Firefox is telling me the image can't be found. Not sure what it should be. S...

New avatars are being served over http, not https, which breaks security standards and makes my portable SeaMonkey throw warnings in every forum page -- see also URL field, 2. and 10.
Updated some server settings. Is this fixed for you now?

Don't get me wrong here, I really like the forum makeover resulting from the software update. I just wish the UI would be a little more ergonomic and a little less loud. 👍 I think the best solution for this might be to allow for everyone to choose their own phpBB styles. Currently, I am using Allan...
