Re: Video To Video

I just tried this out and I am confused by the logic of this program!! I have 4 parts of a video numbered 1 to 4 and tried to join them together as one. I selected them in my file manager in the order 1,2,3,4. This program joined them but put the number 4 segment at the start - in this sequence: 4,1...

Update: download requires an email address and then they'll send you a link. Free temporary email services might be useful.[/quote]

For what its worth - I find that Softmaker are not as aggressive as Ashampoo - who as you know rebrand softmaker as their own.

Re: LiberKey concerns

Some points that I would like to add. This whole debate appears to be a private witch hunt by John Haller. Why is it that only John Haller comes up with these allegations? If an outsider was to try to read between the lines, it would seem that this website is also being accused of being associated w...

Correct me if I have got this wrong, but don't you make money by selling USB drives pre-packaged with your software suite!

Do the software producers get a share of that profit?

Re: PhotoFiltre 7

Photfiltre 7 is the updated version of the previous version 6.52 and is freeware. Photofiltre Studio is different and as you pointed out, the shareware version. The major change is the addition of layers. I have mine running under JauntePe, so can not comment on the portability. However, it is a gre...

This site is all about freedom of choice! I guess that most people who come here also know about your site - so that is another choice. You run your site the way you you want (which is understandable) but you should also consider the experiences of visitors to your site. It really gets up my nose th...

Re: Positive press on lifehacker today...

That way there's only a single process asking for access to the internet via your software firewall (PortableAppsUpdater.exe) rather than alerts for a hundreds of different apps' individual launchers (AppNamePortable.exe * A LOT). So how do you account for the fact that if you click on the help fil...

You can also find the installation date with system information programs such as "Piriform Speccy", SIW & Syspec - all of which can be found here.

Re: FINALLY: .NET 2.0 Portable

It doesn't matter if it is legal or not because it does not work. If you try to start a program as stated, an error message pops up asking you to install Dotnet 2 - so what's the point of this program? Obviously when it was thinstalled it was not on a clean computer.

Re: correll office, is it portable payware?

I followed your link & found that the software is actually "Corel Home Office". I saw a review on it recently and it is not compatable with any other software not even the main Corel Office. Basically it is supposedly a re-branded version of "Ability Office & can not import/ex...
