Re: Help with making Wings3D Portable

I installed it to a Sandboxie folder. It writes some stuff to the System folder.
I think the error comes from Wings3D itself.

What is the difference between each of the configurations anyway?

Re: Windows Movie Maker clone

Please don't bump an old topic next time. For WindowsXP: Go to http://www.mediaconverter.org and convert your videos to .wmv files, which should be supported. Then just go to File->Import Into Collections and browse for your movies. For Vista: Should be similar, but I don't have vista so I can't tel...

Re: LostDrive

I saw this in the Popular Science magazine. It's just a small javascript program. It could even fit into one line:

Code: Select all

alert("This USB drive is lost. Please mail it back to 1234 Nowhere drive, Nowhere, NW, 01234");
Sorry if that code is incorrect. It's been awhile since I did javascript.

There could probably be a program that creates a RAM filesystem, however, it will probably not be portable, for the same reason Sandboxie isn't.

Just post a general description of the program, and make sure it is portable (eg, don't write anything to the registry, user profile, ect)

There should be a readme.html in the JauntePE folder. It has some instructions. Open it with your favorite web browser, and look at the sidebar on the right.
