Portable Ruby

Too late for me to test the portability (changes in the registry) because I am already running it.
I should have thought of this before!

DC++ (aka DC plusplus or DC pp)

I just found this link: http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/ It is open source, freeware and portable. I don't know if many people have an interest in this software, but if yes, it seems promising. File size: close to 70 Mb. From the web page: DC++ announces the freedom to share! DC++ is an open sourc...

Re: VidCoder

I did some testing on the current portability of VidCoder (RegShot, and installation test) and posted the outcome in this forum about 3-4 hours ago. My post is not there ... got lost? no Pb! The portability depends on the OS, .. under Win7 not fully portable as it require a dot net thing, but is por...

VidCoder

I am just curious why VidCoder ( https://vidcoder.codeplex.com/ ), a BlueRay Ripper and video transcoder is not discussed at TPFC
It has portable versions (not tested): https://vidcoder.codeplex.com/releases/view/108094

Code::Blocks Portable

At http://codeblocks.codecutter.org/ they say they have a portable version inc. a minGW C/C++ compiler of Code::Blocs ( http://codeblocks.codecutter.org/CodeBlocks-EP.zip ).

Portableapps.com has a paf for the IDE part, but no compiler: http://portableapps.com/node/18671

Quincy (IDE + minGW C/C++ Compiler)

I admit that I am completely lost in the PFC interface. What I am trying to do is simple: submit Quincy (a C/C++ dev platform: IDE + minGW compiler). Quincy (http://www.codecutter.net/tools/quincy/), my Swiss army knife when I need to write a C/C++ app on the fly. I have originally "installed" Quinc...
