Re: Context portable Another Text Programmers Notepad

How come? The latest version is 7.04a.
TC 7.50 is in closed beta stage now and it's either impossible to obtain or somehow illegal.

Hi. Just two things I think are missing: 1. possibility to have note's title focused by default. I know the date is inserted by default by it is annoying to hit TAB few times to get first field in the form selected. 2. Colours Please, allow the users to switch off schemes completely or customize the...

OMG! I just can't believe how anyone could make such idiotic video. It's not the way for making application portable. Of course, it might work for some apps but definitely will not for others. Why? Such archive will always run from portable device but an application might fail and show an error beca...

If I really had to choose between .NET apps then this tool could be better:

Why?

It supports different profiles and have separate 32 / 64bit versions.

And you miss one thing: the word "Portable" is treated as something cool and jazzy, like "super" or "hiper" prefixes in the hardware world.

You just don't get right mood.

Currently I am waiting for tutorial how to write "Portable Hello World" ;)

Not stealth for sure.
In my machine it writes unwanted things to the registry only. The rest settings are stored in Q-Dir.ini file located in application's directory. Important thing to do is to check "Portable mode" during installation.

2 Vince_99 Last complain from my side: I could switch the language IF I had a chance to do it wisely. I can't say it is nice if I had to click OK for unknown messages. Without that it wasn't possible to do this task because of "login form" which couldn't handle "Cancel" input. It...

2 Vince_99 I am sorry if you felt offended. I've downloaded ZIP package from this site (I assume that this can be portable one).
