Re: About Comodo products & privacy issues
Damn, that really disappoints me. I like Comodo software, but now I feel that I can't trust it since I can't trust the company that runs it. Whoever sold that data has really no integrity whatsoever. Such a low low blow to it's own userbase!
Re: Ramdisk
I used to mess around with RAM drives and there are some newer types of RAM drive drivers these days that are easier to use. The main problem I ran into was that sometimes RAM disks use more CPU. I'm not really sure yet why this happens and when. I have a feeling that it doesn't always happen but ma...

Re: Why can't I format in NTFS?
Just remember if you use FAT32 that it can't support privacy settings and is filesize is limited to something around 4 GB. There are some other limitations but I forget. If you try to create or copy a file bigger than that FAT32 will automatically split it into numbered pieces and the programs that ...

Re: Remove specks from image
NeatImage has a free demo that is pretty much fully functional except it writes it's results to high-quality JPEG instead of to BMP or PNG. But the results usually still look better than the original file if you use it properly. It's not a de-speckler but it is a de-noiser. The way it works is you l...

Re: Is anyone else getting malware warnings with Q-DIR ?
Thanks for the replies. I still don't know why Q-Dir is doing what is deemed a risky behavior by my anti-malware program, but I hope and guess that it's safe based upon the community concensus. I know that virus checkers don't check the behavior of a program, just scan for malicious contents. Since ...

Re: RealWorld Paint 2011.1
Really nice program! I don't understand some of the preferences, but for editing it's nice. I like how it deals with alpha channels nicely.

Re: Is anyone else getting malware warnings with Q-DIR ?
What do you think it means that Q-Dir is trying to access other running programs though? If it's a false positive, why doesn't it happen with all the old versions of Q-Dir? What exactly is going on with it? No other program I have ever used gives this message. And I use tons of freeware and payware....

Is anyone else getting malware warnings with Q-DIR ?
Is your anti-malware giving you warnings about Q-Dir? I have been getting these warnings ever since and including version v4.69. Versions v4.68 and earlier didn't trigger these warnings. I have contacted the program author, but I was curious if anyone else is getting this?

I also use Executor and Appetizer. Those are very nice programs I find.

Re: Anybody knows a Virtual Desktop Portable Launcher progra
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but Appetizer seems sort of like that. The nice thing about Appetizer is that you can assign certain programs or files to each run together whenever you first launch Appetizer. I put a link to Appetizer in my Windows startups lists and use Appetizer l...

Re: MULTI Frontend: Portable & Stealth Launcher
I have used this program and I like it alot. I don't use it quite as much as I used to since I use Foobar2000 for handling FLAC's, but this program here really did help me out quite a few times.
