Well I honestly wouldn't know what it writes during installation because I used Universal Extractor to set it up, but I'm pretty positive that it doesnt write anything to the host computer. It doesnt write to the registry, saves a profile/s to your portable device,
When you close Opera Portable, all data will be overwritten and erased with a nifty NSIS script(even if opera crashes).
