You'll need NSIS from nsis.sf.net open it up in notepad, or any text editor you wish (I use SciTE because it has syntax highlighting) near the top is stuff like: !define AUTHOR "" ; your name !define APP "" ; insert application name, e.g. "TestApp" !define VER "0.0...

Does PCrypt eat directions from the command line? Could I do sth like: pcrypt.exe --encrypt --key 1234key "file.txt" Then you could write a batch/autoit to encrypt/decrypt the files and stick it in your autorun.inf (if the machine you plug it into lets you run it)... If not, i'm sure there...

Actually, I don't think that is technically possible. To do that would involve changing the Firefox source, which John Haller has said in the past that he would not do. I think that auto update should be disabled by default on Firefox portable installations, but what do I knwo? :wink:

I believe John Haller has said in the past that the portable apps can be updated by simply overwriting the exes. That is, unless, the application writes to different/extra folders, or more registry keys get written to. I assume that the auto updater simply overwrites the files.... I'd say, let it up...
