another way to make cherokee portable, is rename the install.bat to cherokee_portable.bat (or other name), modify it as you want, write "cherokee.bat" on the last line, and aways execute the cherokee_portable.bat

i wrote the launcher (based on the Karl Loncarek template) for HeidiSQL and is avaiable to download at sourceforge.net.
