If you want a GUI for QEMU, try QEMU manager - it's head and shoulders above MobaLiveCD. http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=640 I completely agree, but for a quick, no fuss, no setup, instant load for most live CD's/DVD's its excellent. I also use QEMU Manager as my 1st choice but use MobaLiveCD t...

I've been using this for a while and only just started getting Avast giving me the same report. Looks like a false positive with a new Avast update!! :S

I beg to differ... I changed the ini to portable=1 and set save settings to the ini in the preferences. The settings are saved to the ini on closing the app.

Has anybody any idea if there is something similar to this but for NirSoft utilities? I have now 129 of his utilities and is getting harder to browse and launch a specific one! I asked him if he any plans to create a multi purpose tool that would contain several of his programs. His reply was along...

BAT to EXE

Just found this nice (free obviously) little batch file to exe file converter. Really simple GUI (and very basic). Did a test with regshot which only found 3 minimal unavoidable modifications (prefetch, MRU & RNG). Blurb from the site: Bat To Exe Converter Bat To Exe-Converter converts your batc...

MobaLiveCD

[ Mod Note: the present is the official forum topic for Mobateks MobaLiveCD ; https://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1471] I have played with this a bit and works very nicely, BUT.. it does leave a fair few traces of its use around in the registry. It seems to be base on QEMU but with less control ove...
