I haven't used nLite for a good two years, from what I remember, irrespective to settings at the moment, at a files level nLite is already portable. Just stick it on your flash key and take to another computer. As far as settings go, I seem to remember it stores in an .ini file anyway, but I could b...

The only possible alternative I have found is at www.topocr.com which I run locally from a USB stick (I think I used the install - copy - uninstall technique) but I don't know if it is truly portable or stealthy - someone with better tech skills than I possess may wish to evaluate it. Already has b...

PortableApps = PortableCraps = The launchers by Haller, Firefox being great, but, WinMd5SumPortable? The launcher literally does nothing but launch the program.

UBCD4Win has it's uses, most of them repair and recovery related, but as dennis quite rightly points out, the title is a little mis-leading.

For those really interested, check out http://www.winusb.de/index_en.html, it will kill your USB sticks though! Only suitable for USB Hard drives.

Using version 0.61? Are you sure?

I was referring to 0.61 not working with YouTube, not 0.7. Every time I tried I recieved an error about not being able to find the video source.

It's quite alright, if it brings more attention to the new version that is a good thing in my opinion since 0.61 no longer works for YouTube.

Re: PScummVM

Updated to 1.8.2.4 to include ScummVM 0.11.1. Any word from database maintainers as to why this hasn't been included? It's portable, it's freeware, it's stealth, it's PortableAppsMenu + other launchers compatible, and it even rewrites the data folder if users accidentally delete their settings. Pret...

VDownloader 0.7

Important update to VDownloader: http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1279

Youtube changed their page format, so VDownloader 0.61 can no longer be used to download content from Youtube, but 0.7 can.

Download link is the same, just the version number needs updating.

FreeExtractor is the easiest way to create self-extracting archives for Windows from existing ZIP files. It is an excellent open-source solution for packaging software programs and for distributing files to friends and colleagues over the Internet.
