Re: Do not use Microsoft Store

sounds like something the authors of the actual software has to resolve; probably fair better to bring it to their attention. If you dig through the various github threads, it appears that was attempted without success. https://github.com/NickeManarin/ScreenToGif/issues/292#issuecomment-497995880 h...

Perhaps you could tip off gHacks or similar about the issue and lack of response. Perhaps it'd give MS a nudge :D
They have a financial incentive NOT to do anything so this is probably the only route to success.

Re: font viewer with filter

Great question. NexusFont (as billon notes) does allow filtering by name. So if sans/monospace, or serif is in the name, that would work. https://i.imgur.com/cQiyR3y.png FontManager (cross-platform, probably not portable) might also do some of what you're looking for, including spacing: https://font...

Implemented detection of "Ditto", a popular clipboard manager for Microsoft Windows.
That's my copy manager of choice. What does detection do? Just disable "Clear Clipboard" while the program is running?

Re: Firefox Portable

I would like to know if there are addons free (or pay) that allow you to print web pages (or parts of them) on a pdf file, as well as do (well) Chromium. The previous version of PDF Edit was among my favorite extensions, and carried a remarkable amount of functionality. I miss some of those extras,...

Do not use Microsoft Store

So this is an ongoing problem: The Microsoft Store is riddled with knock-off commercial versions. Re: BlueStacks Android emulator

I was unable to run apps like WiFi Analyzer, I guess because of Android's lack of direct access to the network drivers? I'm assuming this is something inherent to emulation, but it would be great if this could be overcome. I expect that's the case. If VMware and VirtualBox are any indication, BlueS...

Re: Firefox Portable

Yep, seen it at Ghacks.net. Although I personally don't intend to use it, best of lucks is my wish. :| Martin's (of Ghacks) thoughts mirror my own on the topic. I have already had good experience with Protonmail and ProtonVPN so if they were to create a partnership there, I'd certainly be on board....

@UEZ: I apologize for coming down so hard on your effort. A good percentage of our site is made up of hobby coders who produce unique and interesting programs. I was unfortunately testing a program after many years working with a host of different great options in the screen capture/addendum space. ...

@ webfork : I think rbon observations pertain only to ConsoleZ . I haven't tested ConsoleZ and have only been posting update notices in order to signal that there is still some kind of development -- the last release of upstream Console ( 2 ) that is present in our database dates back from 2011.
