Re: DropIt

Hi Hitman, it is because for Copy action you define a destination folder and not also the filename. You could try with a 2-steps solution: 1. an association to create a copy in a temp folder e.g.: c:\study\thesis.docx -> c:\study\backup\temp\20160531 102123\thesis.docx 2. an association to rename it...

Re: DropIt

Hi all, as you saw I do not have so much time to work on my projects any more, but I found a few time to do some improvements and fixes that now I released in version 8.2! @RainrooM: print files is a hard feature to implement and in general it is not possible to support any file format, so anyway it...

Re: DropIt

The problem is that PDF printers require installed drivers to work. I'm not sure if it works, but you could try something like this:

Re: DropIt

@rbon: "change file association" is a feature to edit system configurations, while DropIt works on files. I think it requires a dedicated software for it. @MioR: to avoid monitoring subfolders you can add an association with double asterisks ** as filter and "Ignore" as action. C...

Re: DropIt

I released a new minor update with some fixes and improvements (some of them discussed here): http://www.dropitproject.com/ @angerthosenear: I may consider to add an abbreviation modifier to fully support regex. At the moment you could try to do something with available modifiers: http://www.dropitp...

Re: DropIt

@SAMARSH: if someone would like to collaborate to the code, we could consider to implement sequential/multiple actions. @hitnrun30: I fixed it in the following pre-release. Let me know. @tproli: I fixed it. Now double quotes are not automatically added and %File% is automatically added only if "...

Re: DropIt

If you use the installed version, you may find settings.ini file in a "DropIt" folder in "Roaming" directory (or "documents and settings").

Re: DropIt Email

I love your product and would like to use it to email files as attachments to a fixed email address by means of the command line. But how do I suppress the confirmation pop-up. I'd like to just run the command and done. No email confirmation pop-up is required because the email sender and recipient...

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

I agree to limit the choice to the open source releases.
I'd like to try the last version of SevenOptimus, has someone a copy of it? KJD, I'm not able to access to your link (it is for registered users only). :)
Maybe could someone also contact him to know about the next release under development?

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

I'd like to see you go on using the official version, but if you decide to switch, just don't use the version from gora (nothing against the guy, just don't like his license braking... although it seems to be just a defense mechanism). Ok, so what about the other unofficial version 1.6.5? It seems ...
