By eliminating all of the unnecessary language files and keeping the file of my own language (en.ttt), moving en.ttt to the main 7-Zip directory, deleting the lang directory, and eliminating everything else until only the following files are left in a temporary directory,

7zFM.exe
7zG.exe
7z.dll
7-zip.chm
7z.sfx
en.ttt

7-Zip can be used portably without any problem on my system. I first tested this by using Revo Uninstaller to wipe 7-Zip desktop off my system first, and then, ran 7-Zip from a temporary directory. Everything worked just fine for me! You can change the filetype icons and the File Manager button icons. You can even create your own themes if look at the current themes (unhide all files) and can figure out what you need.
