The entry's description should make clear that what's offered here is the PortableApps package. Upstream Spybot S&D v2.5 ditched XP support, and XP users are advised to stay with v2.4:

System requirements should not include Vista for v2.6

Beware! Even you don't clean anything, the portable package leaves numerous traces in the system: hard to find registry keys (search also for "Safe Networking Limited") and a stubborn folder in ProgramData plus one in AppData\Roaming (unfortunately I didn't wrote down all the traces before cleaning up). |
HashMyFiles is a small utility that allows you to generate unique file identifiers (hashes) using a variety of popular checks. These can help determine if a file has been modified or corrupted, as well as help determine the file's reputation by submitting to the VirusTotal database for malware analysis.
Formats supported range form fast to secure with CRC32, MD5, SHA1/-256/-512/-384. The various hashing information can be saved to a report (text/HTML/XML/CSV/TSV) that includes name, path, dates, file size, version and other info.

Blows my mind how stagnate NirSoft's programs become, HashMyFiles still doesn't have a way to "Delete files to Recycle Bin" or similar. And all his programs are still plagued with DPI/multi-monitor issues years after reporting about them.

ClamWin is the Windows version of ClamAV, a virus and spyware scanner which database is constantly maintained by a group of volunteers and updates are always available for free. Note that the program does not contain an on-access real-time scanner; you must manually scan a file in order to detect malware or use a third party tool like the general purpose Directory Monitor (see Execute scripts/applications when events occur) or the outdated Clam Sentinel.
ClamWin Portable is a portable wrapper for ClamWin and can be modified to automatically update virus database periodically or during startup.

This version will leave trash behind in the registry and also leaves a Windows Service running. For a real stealth version of this application visit the thread I created for it here: https://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=23624

DVD Drive Repair allows you to restore your DVD (Optical) Drive if missing from Windows. In some instances, it can also help when certain applications do not recognize your drive; mostly when your computer encountered a hardware problem or a virus attack that prevents it from using the DVD Drive.
Additionally, the program can also reset the Autorun settings to default and protect your system from Autorun malware by disabling autorun features for removable drives.
A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

Hooker is a lightweight keyboard spy program that watches a computer for input by another user. It includes a stealth mode, log encryption, capturing of clipboard changes and currently used process, log viewer and can send logs via email or upload to an FTP server. The "Lite" version has several limitations which include, program shows itself when started; stealth mode is deactivated when hot key is pressed (without password prompt).
Note: Although this program can be used for legitimate purposes, it will be seen as malware by many scanners.

A good AV will not let you run this kind of software unless you add it to the exclusion list.

It's not the zip thats infected. The site itself tries to deploy a trojan horse! |
Clam Sentinel is a real-time malware scanner using ClamWin Antivirus as its engine. The program also has its own system monitor that scans for unknown malware that does not yet have a ClamWin signature. It also detects new drives and monitors these units until the program is closed or until the device is disconnected.
NOTE: There have been no updates to this program since late 2014. You might want to consider using the general purpose Directory Monitor instead (see Execute scripts/applications when events occur, which also provides Clam Sentinel's missing feature of only launching ClamWin within specific folders).

This looks like a potentially useful app, but I'd never trust a 'removal tool' that didn't allow a 'scan and report' option first. You have no idea what this is going to do to a PC when you press the 'Start' Button! |
Audiograbber reads digital audio from your CDs and converts them to WAV, MP3, or OGG files. The program can automatically normalize the music, delete silence from the start and/or end of tracks, and download/upload disc info from the Internet CD database "freedb". You can even convert your vinyl LPs or cassette tapes with Audiograbber to digital audio.
Warning: the official home page has started bundling software that is being listed as malware by numerous sources. We are only linking to Softpedia, which hosts one without these issues. We recommend against visiting audiograbber.org.
