NetworkTrafficView v2.06

Eyes open wide as can be, can't seem to spot the new "IPNetInfo - Source IP" option displayed anywhere...;-(

Anyone else with a better eyesight cares double-checking ?

__philippe on 2017-04-26 21:41

Eyes open wide, but looking the wrong direction...:-(

The new option is indeed present and working as it should, available NOT under the likely "Option" tab,
but rather from two alternate locations :

• under the "File" tab
• in the context menu

Apologies for this unwarranted agitation.

@__philippe no thank you cause I couldn't find either lol, but I was able after you pointed me in the right direction :)

Everything v1.4.1.895 Updated

billon on 9 Feb 2018
  • 2MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 9 Feb 2018
  • Suggested by Drutt

Everything is a powerful search tool that locates files and folders by file name instantly, and includes an FTP and Web server interface. It also can search files by their contents. Unlike Windows search, Everything initially displays all files and folders on your computer. You simply type in part of the desired file name to limit what files and folders are displayed instantly. The more you type, the more specific the list becomes.

Note that the instant-search capability only works on NTFS/ReFS-formatted drives and only uses file and folder names in a file index. The program can separately catalog non-NTFS/ReFS and network servers for searching on a schedule.

Category:
System Requirements: Win2K / WinXP / Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Application folder
Stealth: ? Yes
Unicode support: Yes

How to extract: Download the "Portable" ZIP package depending on your OS and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch Everything.exe.
Similar/alternative apps: HDDB, Ultra File Search Lite, UltraSearch
What's new? Added:
  • .jpeg extension to the image information search functions.
  • Support for cluster sizes larger than 64k.
  • preview_context ini setting.
Fixed:
  • A crash when clearing search history.
  • A security issue when running a FTP server.
  • An issue preventing Everything from closing when pressing ESC.
  • An issue where Everything would lose the current sort after reindexing.
  • An issue when using invalid characters to rename a file.
  • A crash when rendering tall or wide images.
  • An issue when shutting down Everything would cause it to miss changes.
  • A memory alignment issue.
  • Database corruption when renaming a folder when folder size indexing is enabled or when there is a folder exclude.
  • An issue with circular NTFS/ReFS folder parents.

@bitcoin: if you're looking to minimize editor memory footprint, take a look at the likes of AkelPad, editor2 & win32pad. Also, take a look at this forum topic: https://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22061 ...

Carbonize comment above seems to imply that eMule functionality is built-in BitComet, when in fact it resides in a separated plugin... IMHO, BitComet provides for a comprehensive and rather good downloading solution (encompassing regular, media and torrent downloads).

I used BitComet as the first torrent client back in the ol days.
Then uTorrent arrived, and I stuck with it for the low resource usage.

@billon
Have you checked the download links for BitComet version 1.44?
I get "404 Not Found" both for the archive and the installer.

Includes support for single-click remote desktop forwarding for graphical server access, vt100, strong auto-reconnect and a scriptable console-mode SFTP client. Integrated SOCKS and HTTP proxy are available for dynamic forwarding. Security measures include wide encryption protocol support including public key exchange and optional integrated compression. Supports profiles and optional encryption of local passwords.

Sorry, but i can't find version 6.03 on the website. It's still 4.60

Midas on 2014-07-15 09:34

FYI, Tunnelier has been renamed Bitvise SSH Client and the current third party PAF repack is v4.60 Rev 2.0 (see http://tp.vbap.com.au/download). The current upstream Bitvise SSH Client is v6.03 (changelog at http://www.bitvise.com/ssh-client-version-history). Both still freeware...

For a freeware portable server alternative, check out Stunnel (http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21551). For a freeware non-portable server, see SilverSHielD (http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21461).

@billon: you can delete your mistaken post by pressing the can icon at the far right...

The site dedicated to the portable version (see my comment above) is dead. Entry links corrected.
