TcpLogView monitors the opened TCP connections on your system and adds a new log line every time that a TCP connection is opened or closed. For every log line, the following information is displayed: Even Time, Event Type (Open, Close, Listen), Local Address, Remote Address, Remote Host Name, Local Port, Remote Port, Process ID, Process Name and the country information of the Remote IP (Requires to download IP.

In order to get country information of the remote IP address ('Remote IP Country' column), download one of the following resources and put in the same folder as TcpLogView.exe:

  • Fixed bug: When exporting the log items while the 'Write To Log File' option was active, TcpLogView started to write the csv log file in Unicode, causing the file to be corrupted.

Both Nirsoft's TCPLogView and Sysinternals' TCPview offer about the same set of functionalities.

However, the alternative Sysinternals' TCPview might have a slight edge in its skilled use of color background for highlighting DYNAMIC TCP connections activities:

It feels nimbler at popping up a log line (on a green background) for each transient new active connections and at briefly flashing an existing log line (on red background) before its connection is torn down.

TCPLogView Version 1.15 released 19-MAR-2105:

Added 'Write To Log File' option. When it's turned on, all log lines are automatically written to TcpLogView.csv located in the same folder of TcpLogView.exe

AlwaysMouseWheel allows you to scroll (via mouse wheel) any window under the mouse, even if that window is not in the foreground. This is especially useful when referencing multiple windows without losing focus on the primary window (e.g. taking notes).

NK2Edit edits the "auto-complete" entries in Microsoft Outlook. Auto-complete is a useful feature to automatically suggest items based on the first few letters of the recipient, but over time can gather invalid or unwanted contacts. The name comes from the .NK2 file extension Outlook saves this email list to.

A 64-bit version (only for using with Outlook 2010/2013 64-bit) is available.
