Ah, ok. Try posting on the app's homepage (at the very bottom) a message describing your exact problem and system specs. The author should be informed about such an important issue.

SmartSniff is a network analysis/dignostic tool that allows you to capture TCP/IP packets that pass through your network adapter. You can view the captured data as sequence of conversations between clients and servers in ASCII mode (for text-based protocols, like HTTP, SMTP, POP3 and FTP) or as hex dump (for non text-based protocols, like DNS).
On Win2K or above, SmartSniff is able to capture TCP/IP packets using raw sockets. This method has some limitations and problems, but it does not require any additional installation. A better way to capture TCP/IP packets is to install the open-source WinPcap capture driver, functional on Windows 98 and later.

@kermode - it works on raw sockets in winXP SP3, so it is portable for some users at least. |
NetworkInterfacesView displays the list of all network adapters/interfaces installed on your system. It displays network interfaces that are currently active, as well as network interfaces that have been installed previously, and now they are not connected (like USB wireless network adapters).
For every network interface found on your system, the following information is displayed (if it's stored in the Registry): Device Name, Connection Name, IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DHCP Server, Status, MAC Address and more...
You can select one or more network interface items and then export them to xml/html/csv/tab-delimited file, or copy them into the clipboard and then paste them into Excel or other spreadsheet application.

Complete Internet Repair attempts to repair Internet and network-related issues. Note that the program should only be run when there are problems as it provides no speed improvements and the program may actually cause problems on a normal, working connection.
