So I am using RBTray, but it is not working on Firefox and Opera. Right Click does not minimize these browsers to tray.

Works fine on Firefox if Title Bar visible, if not use Shift-Right-Clicking on Tab Bar (mine in on top) or Windows-Alt-Down. Also works with Thunderbird. Do not use Opera, but one of the three methods in description seems to work on every program I use, so give it a try.

All 3 methods work on Firefox without Title Bar in 4.14 version. Great app. |

Hexplorer is an editor for viewing/editing files in hexadecimal format. Its unique feature is the ability to interpret and visualize binary data in various ways eg. view as BMP header or FAT32 boot sector. It comes with a built-in pixel viewer to show binaries as bitmaps. It also doubles up as a disk sector editor since it is able to access logical disks under WinNT/2K/XP.
NOTE: If the program starts up with a very small font, select View from the menu and choose Options - Font - Fixed Roman Large.

Wow, this is not only the most visually appealing, but also the most useful hex editor I've ever tried!

Yes, it has some unusual features, but it is not truely portable. After installing and playing with it for a while, I discovered that it stored the primary (font selection, colors, etc) in two files (hexplorer.dat and mclip.dat) in "%windir%\Application Data". I did not use all the features and tools so other files may be created. |

DriveCleanup removes all currently non present "Storage Volumes", "Disk", "CDROM", "Floppy" USB drives and their USB devices from the device tree. Furthermore it removes orphaned registry items related to these device types. Both are not removed by similar programs on the site and take up space on the registry, eventually slow down a computer over time.
To preview program actions, start with argument -T (test mode).
A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

IMHO, currently the best .nfo and .diz file viewer coupled with a pretty decent text editor; NFOPad can save its settings to the registry or in an INI file.

Totally agree with Midas that this is the best .nfo / .diz viewer out there. Been using it for several years. Keep up the great work and THANKS! |

TimeSync gets the current time from a NIST server and adjusts the PC clock if necessary. It will try alternative servers in case the time cannot be obtained from the first server. You can use the "/auto" parameter to run TimeSync so that it will automatically synchronize the time without user action.

Emsisoft Anti-malware scan found DealHelper.com malware... which is strange because I've been using it for years. Anyone?

In my eternal quest for optimization I (accidentally) removed NTP support from my XP installation through nLite, so this program is very useful to restore lost functionality at a small footprint :)

As a couple of others have stated, this utility is completely unnecessary for Windows XP, Vista and Win7 because they already have time synchronizers built in. Other than for a school assignment for 'Intro to Programming 101,' I have no idea why someone would waste their time writing it. |
