I only use this program once every 2 years but I'm SO glad I have it. I don't know of a similar program for other operating systems. |
SecurityQuestionsView allows you to view the security questions and their answers. It can decrypt the security questions stored on your currently running system (requires elevation), or those stored on external hard drive.
The program displays the security questions of all users on your system that chose to set their security questions (for every user there are usually 3 questions).

Works as advertised-good to use if you forget your monitor serial number, previous versions would not tell correct supported resolutions, this works fine. |
OfflineRegistryFinder allows you to scan registry files from a separate source (not your local system registry) or registry snapshot to find keys/values/data. After it displays the search result, you can easily select one or more items and then export them into a .reg file. This can then be imported into the RegEdit tool of Windows.
Note that snapshot searches may be faster than a live system, especially for repeated searches or general research. As such, creating a snapshot of your current system and using this program may work better and faster than other registry search tools.

IPNetInfo is a small utility that allows you to easily find all available information about an IP address: the owner of the IP address, the country/state name, IP addresses range, contact information (address, phone, fax and email) and more. This utility can be very useful for finding the origin of unsolicited mail.
Optionally, add CurrPorts to the same directory to resolve information of the remote IP address via the right-click context menu.

SysExporter allows you to grab data from most static windows that appear on your computer. This is useful for getting error data, instructions and more from system messages that you would ordinarily have to type out or screen capture. This versatile tool can grab standard list-views, tree-views, list boxes, combo boxes, text-boxes, labels and Web Browser/HTML controls from almost any application running on your system.
The program can export its data to a text, HTML or XML file.

is there a way for this program to read an Outlook (not outlook express) address book listbox of type OUTEXVLB? I do not get anything at the bottom of the screen. I have tried it with around 200,000 items and with about 800 items and nothing shows up. Is it because this program does not support this particular listbox/window???

*Extremely* important tool for software testers. Getting lengthy error messages out of static windows is critical to helping developers understand what went wrong. If you want to help any of the makers of software on this or other sites, start with SysExporter. |
