[Anonymous] raphaelWho makes this? This is a standard plugin for any self respecting image editing program. Who needs it? [2006-12-03 07:42]

[Anonymous] sco50000that's exactly what i was thinking

it's just a stand-alone plug-in

[Anonymous] SilverFotoSketcher would be a better choice. It's free, standalone, portable, have batch processing as well, and the results are actually really good. You can also choose color pencils, oil, etc.

And an example:

There are issues and one of them is that it only saves preset and they are all separate so it's a pain if there is a setting you always want to open up instantly to. Also, it always add a fake picture frame to the image so remember to disable that each time when you don't need it.

For more general topics (eg. whether apps that write to the registry, leave traces on the host machine, rely on certain versions of IE etc. can be considered portable), please post to the Portable Freeware Discussion forum. If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
