[Anonymous] JensSpeQ is just great! I need formula graph bitmaps for websites from time to time and this is exactly the utility I ever wanted to create them easily. GIF / PNG export would be a nice enhancement (but converting the bitmaps with another tool afterwards is no problem). [2006-08-19 10:35]

[Anonymous] tmpusrAmasing what you can do with only 300KB.

professional & feature rich - I use it instead of MATLAB for all simple, day-2-day calculation.

Highly recommended !

[Anonymous] JosTip: you can reduce the size of the program to 132 KB if you remove the usersguide. SpeQ will open the online usersguide instead. [2006-08-21 16:39]

[Anonymous] anonymouseWOW, extremely pleased with the graphing capabilities. This program has potential to replace matlab if sripting and array support is included in future versions. [2006-09-14 04:16]

[Anonymous] JarredThis is a true gem in my collection. I don't quite like recent versions (feature creep), but I still use it for 95% of my day to day calculations/graphing.
For everything else there is Python + matplotlib.

For more general topics (eg. whether apps that write to the registry, leave traces on the host machine, rely on certain versions of IE etc. can be considered portable), please post to the Portable Freeware Discussion forum. If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
