WinAudit performs a rapid and exhaustive audit of installed software, license information, security configuration, hardware inventory, network settings etc. The report can be save in various formats (text, PDF, HTMl etc.), sent via email, or exported to a database via ODBC.

Nice little proggie, give you lots of information in a short time, no learning needed (pretty much self-explanatory), let you save the report in one of few common formats (HTML, pdf etc.), free and portable.
I send a 'Thank you very much' to the developer.
