MegaIRC is an Internet Relay Chat client that can work in one-windowed mode, putting all private, channel, and system messages in same window. Supports proxy, SSL, and various server encodings.
The program can also work in a debug mode where all server messages will be shown as-is, according to IRC protocol.
Note: Based on user comments and due to a listing by multiple services as malicious, it has been replaced with the Softpedia download.

The website wants you to complete a survey or download games before you can download the application. Very bad style...

It doesn't support UTF-8, despite it's "multilingual" inferface (which apparently was created with machine translations).
I can not get /ctcp commands to work, nor find a help file or support forum for this product
Not for newcommers to IRC, the entire program runs inside a single window, making it confusing for handling multiple conversations.
The "SSL Libs ZIP archive" can be downloaded here: http://ironfist.at.tut.by/ssl.zip
Very good client indeed. Recommend it.
Looks really good, but there are several glitches in the graphics (big black blocks on the menu and in between the icons) and apparently it does not understand non-ASCII characters, they get displayed as gibberish ("ä", e.g.).
Unfortunately there's a small flicker that runs through the entire screen every time you press enter/a new line of text scrolls up. The flicker is slight but it's enough to send me back into the loving arms of X-Chat.
Emka: thanks for pointing that out.
