Truecrypt is NOT portable. I dont care if you can run a portable 'client' version, unless the PC has been set up previously by someone WITH ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS to enable the portable client, you cannot use it. I want a program where I can walk into a cyber cafe and use encrypted drives and this *still* does not exist. [2007-11-15 09:46]

 lkd999: I used to be very happy with this program until I found out that decryption wouldn't work with certain combination of file + password. Now I'm usig dscrypt instead. Worked like a charm so far. [2008-03-03 22:52]

 CD2100: Ikd999, which file would it not work with? i use picocrypt which is small & works , and also i use dscrypt as well. I haven't had problems with either program. (i must admit though, dscrypt is a friendly app to use.) [2008-11-19 14:54]

Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
