I realize I'm pretty late with this comment, but I've discovered a couple of annoying bugs in version 2.21 (which I've reported to the author), and eliminated them by downgrading to 2.11. Otherwise this is a very nice FTP client; portable, nicely laid out, and easy on resources.

Very basic but you might want to add it to your collection. Filezilla can't handle certain public wifi setups whereas i.FPT can.

i.FTP is indeed portable. it doesnt have the ability to see symbolic link directories on the remote server. it thinks they are files. its annoying that when you select port 22 that it doesnt auto-detect that its FTP over SSH. i cant use this piece of junk. FileZilla is way better.

LOL. I can't list any files at my site. Every time I TRY to connect it uses a different character set... and what is portable about an installer?

Go find another program, this isn't worth the trouble. Sorry.

The NSI file doesn't exist in the latest version. I think you need to delete uninstall.exe instead.

I can't find any option to use Active mode.

Sofar this program seems to work fine. Have not had the privilge of uploading an entire site as of yet though. The only thing is it sets to upload as binary or ASCII. If you are doing both type of files you need to tell the program what to treat as ASCII and set the default upload as binary. Would love to see an autodetect but as with any freeware I am just happy this program does what it does and can not complain about my extra step of setting the ASCII files, but thought it should be noted for new ftp users that are not aware of ftp programs work.
