GameBox is a tool to keep organized and play flash games without a web browser. You must put the .swf files into "games" folder and the program will automatically recognize them. It comes with 5 games but you can download a game pack with a lot of games.

It's cool, I've been meaning to add flash games to my games box.. There's no full screen mode or any way to show only the movie frame.. can be a nuisance for very low resolutions or very high resolutions screens.

Well there's few other minor gripes, mostly about game organization which could be better, and a few glitches with some games not being displayed correctly. of course the flash game settings are not saved portable, they are stored in a hard path: AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\ .. Overall the idea of carrying flash game around is really cool idea to me, and it comes with a nice collection of games I've never heard of before, definitely a keeper.
The easiest way I've found to download flash games in firefox is to go to website then "View page info" => "Media" and in the address list it should have a file with a .swf extension save that and add to "games" folder in gamebox

abc, you can also save flash in Firefox (Chrome, Opera) using that bookmarklet:
javascript:%20(function(){%20function%20buildL(fh,%20xx,%20ee,%20kk,%20p){%20try{%20var%20reg=/(\w+)*?(\.swf)/i;%20var%20arr=reg.exec(ee.toLowerCase());%20e1=arr[0];%20}catch(e){%20e1="movie";%20};%20if%20(!xx.document.getElementById("k"+kk)==true){%20var%20dv=xx.document.createElement("A");%20dv.setAttribute("href",ee);%20dv.setAttribute("target","_top");%20dv.id="k"+kk;%20dv.innerHTML='%20Get%20'+e1+'';%20with(dv.style){%20border="1px%20solid%20DarkOrange";%20color="Red";%20backgroundColor="#FFCC66";%20font='verdana';%20fontSize='10pt';%20};%20if%20(fh[kk].parentNode.tagName!="OBJECT"){%20fh[kk].parentNode.insertBefore(dv,fh[kk]);%20}else%20{%20fh[kk].parentNode.parentNode.insertBefore(dv,fh[kk].parentNode);%20};%20};%20};%20function%20rollo(x){%20var%20i=0;%20try{%20var%20flsh0=x.document.body.getElementsByTagName("EMBED");%20if%20(flsh0.length>0){%20for%20(k=0;%20k0){%20for%20(k=0;%20k

I'm sorry, it's look like crap, go to vvsite.com.ua/?cat=13 search Flash-Links and move link to your bookmarks panel.

I get alot of games just viewing the page source and downloading the .swf files directly.

GameBox is pretty cool but you cant leave the screen...I mean games where you have to use space outside the movie frame..like archery or golf,you lose the "powershots"
would be nice if it could use its own PortableApps style flash plugins folder.
