PDF Password Remover disables restrictions from protected PDF files that prevent capabilities such as printing and modification. The program requires the user password in order to remove restrictions and does not include a password audit tool.
NOTE: Program has gone cripplware and will only work on the first page of a PDF. Seeking a mirror for the last available freeware version.

Nice program, but not freeware anymore.
V1.1.0.2
ZoNi: still listed as freeware on the site and on linking sites. What version are you using?
V1.1.0.2
webfork, it is latest version from official website and from link here!
When open this program, you can see this: http://i44.tinypic.com/vx2s0k.png
If you try to decrypt any file, you will get this: http://i40.tinypic.com/ff3hc5.png
I am not sure why link for the latest freeware version, that I have posted, is deleted.
V1.1.0.2
Also, from official web site:
"PDF Password Remover is a shareware tool to remove PDF restriction from protected PDF files."
V1.1.0.2
This one became payware. Anyone has a link to the latest free version? Until then, I down-vote this app.
V1.1.0.2
joby: the portable version does appear to still be 1.1.0.2. The program did add a "buy a license" button, but I can't tell if the basic version of the program is restricted in any way or if this is freeware for non-commercial use only. No documentation on the site and I don't have any password-protected PDFs to test with.
V1.1.0.2
I did check the portable version. It needs to be registered to decrypt more than 1 page. http://i.imgur.com/IYSOe.png
So, ZoNi is right.
V1.1.0.2
Here is once more link for the latest freeware version:

Hope this time my comment will remain here ;-)

Thanks ZoNi -- note added to the main entry.
V1.1.0.2
PDF Password Remover just solved a problem for me during my first session with it:
I have only one protected PDF. It's the manufacturer's user guide for my camera, and oddly enough, copying anything from it via the clipboard or saving it as text is not allowed, even though I am the owner of the camera and the CD containing the manual. I only wanted some portions of the text for my own use. PPR solved that problem. It wrote the modified file with a new file name, so there was no risk to the original document if something went wrong, but nothing went wrong. Two thumbs up for this one!
