FocusWriter is a full-screen, distraction-free word processor designed to immerse you as much as possible in your work. The program auto-saves your progress, and then reloads the last files you had open to make it easy to jump back in during your next writing session, as well as a variety of other features that make it such that only one thing matters: your writing.
FocusWriter Portable is a PortableApps.com version of the program.

GUI not user friendly, you are stuck with full screen option which does not have the feel other such writer programs.

I fail to see what makes FocusWriter's user interface less user-friendly than that of Q10 of WriteMonkey, the two other similar programs I can find. By the way, FocusWriter isn't stuck to full-screen either: just press F11…

Distraction-free writing similar to q10.
Difference is FocusWriter supports RTF (must be turned on in options to use formatting) and about 18 megs.
