[User] joby_tossIt is still in beta stage and it still has some bugs. Also, please, fix the icon and change the description! [2010-06-15 04:06]

[User] donaldPlease note Joby_Toss is correct the application is in beta stage. It has been in beta stage since May 2008

Many applications never release anything but a beta.

Some beta applications are listed.

And Portableapps.com may never allow some applications to be released as anything but Beta's

To find a mention of bugs just read the whole page found http://portableapps.com/node/13421

Regards to the bugs it has by my count ONE unaddressed bug.
The bug is in regards to Win7 and slideshow wallpaper it reverts to the last image showing.

This only applies if you use a Win7 PC with slideshow set as wallpaper, see the quote below.

"a bug: If you have a slideshow set as your background in Win7, when WallpaperSwitcher quits and reverts the original settings, it sets the background back to a single image--whatever image the slideshow was displaying last."

For more general topics (eg. whether apps that write to the registry, leave traces on the host machine, rely on certain versions of IE etc. can be considered portable), please post to the Portable Freeware Discussion forum. If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
