Last edit today 9/13/13 added the category = Internet - Podcast Managers
Hopefully other entries could be added including those already listed @TPFC like Gpodder.

now the way to change the download directory:

edit the gPodderPortable.ini file within the App\AppInfo\Launcher directory and change the GPODDER_DOWNLOAD_DIR=%PAL:DataDir%\config\Downloads line to something else. But it would be reset on each upgrade.

from a thread in the PortableApps forum

seems to work.

PortableApps hosts v2.20, the official website v3.0.1. Is there a reason for this great discrepancy?

Woops, I see that changing it in the config file does not actually work, even after restarting the program.

removebrain: Click the edit config button. Find the Download Dir entry. Click on it and substitute your preferred path.

Looks very nice, exactly what I expect from a portable podcatcher. Allmost perfect, but just one thing:

Why can't I set the language to English? I know Dutch but I prefer English. The Dutch translation is far from complete and what has been translated is.. well not what I want..

this annoys me 'very' much

why is it sooooooooooooo slow?

removebrain 2010-03-27 14:42

was anyone successfully changing the default download location?
