System requirements are not correct. This works with Win 2000 Pro SP4 but as stated above it is not free.
Download link points to v1.5.1, however the .exe in that page is version 2.1.5.
Yeah: 2.1.5 is not freeware, 1.5.1 is.
I think Foxit Reader can save pdf files as text, and it is free.
Just a heads up: download link webpage might indicate 1.5.1 however the file it links to is a later version.

The download link take you from one page to the other ... and finally to have to fill out a survey to get the thing .... not even sure if there is a "thing" after the survey ... it smells like another scam ...

PDFtoText 2.0 was released on March 24, 2010 and is no longer free. It is shareware at $19.95US and is on sale for $9.95US until April 24, 2010.
