MZHistoryView reads the history data file of Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape Web browsers (history.dat or places.sqlite) and then displays the list of all visited Web pages in the last days. For each visited Web page, URL, First visit date, Last visit date, Visit counter, Referrer, Title and Host name are all displayed.

Data can be exported to text/HTML/XML.

How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch MozillaHistoryView.exe.

What's new?
  • MZHistoryView now reads the history database of Firefox directly without using the SQLite library from the install folder of Firefox. It means that you can now use this tool even if Firefox is not installed on your system, as long as you have the places.sqlite database file.
  • You can now send the data to stdout by specifying empty string as filename, for example: MZHistoryView.exe /scomma "" | more

@apometron: this program may not be compatible with the Mozilla nightly builds, especially as there have been some rather intense changes to the FFox code of recent.

I am using Firefox 57 Developer Edition and it do not finds the history. How to do it?
