FNX Basic is a Basic compiler that is able to create applications. It creates a single executable file, in byte code, even if compressed with UPX like RapidQ does.

System Requirements: WinXP
Writes settings to: Application Folder
Unicode support: No
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch FNXeditor.exe.

Looks like a RapidQ hack, or?

Yes, I think so, and the sources can "easily" converted. This byte-code compiler is 4 time faster than the "original".

Surprised at the power of this compiler. Small, lite weight but lots of features. Newest version (July 2011) is on the FNXBasic Forum.

It seems that it's not developed anymore. Website is down and download link is broken.

Both homepage and download link work fine for me. Check your firewall rules, AV or hosts file... or something else.

@joby_toss: Tried it again today and it works, too. Yesterday it wasn't working the whole day. Anyways, glad to see that it works again.
