FNX Basic is a Basic compiler that is able to create applications. It creates a single executable file, in byte code, even if compressed with UPX like RapidQ does.

Unicode support: No
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch FNXeditor.exe.

Yes, I think so, and the sources can "easily" converted. This byte-code compiler is 4 time faster than the "original".

Surprised at the power of this compiler. Small, lite weight but lots of features. Newest version (July 2011) is on the FNXBasic Forum.
