[Anonymous] riskNice file manager with a unique set of features and nice customizations options. [2007-04-17 10:16]

[Anonymous] DishoThis APP is great. For so long I tried to find decent Win Explorer replacement. Ultra Explorer works excellent! Try it! [2007-04-17 11:37]

[Anonymous] LocalIt says here that this is only for 2k and XP. What are the 9x register bat's for?
In fact what is supposed to be registered,
Would that not defeat the object of portability?

[Anonymous] neucannot rename tab title. cannot arrange tab position. work slower than xplorer2. So, i'll stick with explorer2. [2007-05-29 19:41]

[Anonymous] snoozeFantastic - like other folks I've been looking for a decent explorer replacement for a while, and most I've tried have come up short in one way or another. This one however is the business; it's feature packed, very customisable and aesthetically pleasing. My search is over! [2007-09-10 02:26]

[Anonymous] RedbeardGreat program, but has anyone had any luck getting the Launcher to work with relative paths? [2007-10-31 22:58]

[Anonymous] StaticAnybody know why drag and drop to a tab would not work most of the time, but when I first tried UltraExplorer, it would work? I've tried reinstalling but it still doesn't work. [2007-12-20 06:56]

[Anonymous] Alvin BrinsonThe dual pane view is junk. When I change folders on one side, the other side SHOULD NOT ALSO CHANGE. But it does. Useless. [2008-02-23 01:16]

[Anonymous] a2.0 RC3 is available at the forums, the author plans to release 2.0 (with bug fixes) this weekend. [2008-08-20 08:21]

[Anonymous] anticThe command line doesn't autocomplete on tab. That's a downer. [2008-08-21 10:05]

[Anonymous] goodgoobygreat file explorer replacement (also see cubic explorer).

BEST of all the RC$ was released this weekend which is snappier, more stable and more.

[Anonymous] GmacriA very good program, but now is working unstable and very slowly: the graphical interface freezes and some times you must press ctrl+alt+delete to finish the program.
For this reason I uninsulated till a new update.
Now I'm using a more fast and excellent software: CubicExplorer try it:

[Anonymous] TechnomancerNice file manager, i use it as well as Explorer++ and FreeCommander. I do, however, find Ultra Explorer a little slow to load.
I'd give it 8 out of 10

[Anonymous] MikeNot bad, but I prefer xplorerČ, which is smaller and has more features. [2009-09-11 18:35]

For more general topics (eg. whether apps that write to the registry, leave traces on the host machine, rely on certain versions of IE etc. can be considered portable), please post to the Portable Freeware Discussion forum. If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
