[Anonymous] Gary (AlephX BOT)Discovered abundant language localization modules living here:

App/Gnumeric/share/locale/*

Kept only the two en* modules, which shrunk it down to 30MB. Still somewhat large, but a keeper by saving 39MB...

[Anonymous] DubravkaHelp please,
My computer tells me
"The LIBGTK-WIN32-2.0-0.DLL file is linked to missing export
COMDLG32.DLL:PrintDlgExW."

[Anonymous] ThorI have the same problem as "Dubravka", so I would apprechiate if someone could send me a clue to solve this problem. [2007-05-21 04:47]

[Anonymous] MikeB'Print Preview' not working or not included. Overall it is a nice App. [2007-09-08 10:35]

[Anonymous] GaryThe "About" dialog under the "Help" menu freezes the application, requiring a force quit (at least on my system). [2007-09-08 14:59]

[Anonymous] JeffSame issue as Thor and Dubravka when attempted to run in Windows 98. May not be an issue with Windows 2000, though.

I tried moving a copy of comdlg32.dll to the program folder without any change. Looks as though I will have to install Open Office on my memory stick instead.

[Anonymous] VectorFairly buggy. Has enormous potential but someone's going to have to do some real work to get it up to speed. [2010-01-17 17:43]

For more general topics (eg. whether apps that write to the registry, leave traces on the host machine, rely on certain versions of IE etc. can be considered portable), please post to the Portable Freeware Discussion forum. If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
