nPassword is a password manager that encrypts a variety of sensitive information, cataloged in an searchable, easy-to-organize tree view. You can add bookmarks, website login/passwords, define macro sequences to fill web forms, or enter record information directly using the quick password popup feature (by pressing Win+X). It includes with a built-in password generator with that generates "speakable" (looks like a nonsense word) and "secure" (fully random) passwords.
The program also includes a password reveal tool for other tools that have a saved password that shows up as masked (*******).
The database can be compressed to save disk space and improve loading time. Uses 256-bit AES encryption with an optional master password.

This seems to be the current download page:
http://www.zeraha.org/file.43.html
I don't know if it changes by version number or what...
Oh, and that download is a .rar file, meant for USB drives, so you shouldn't have to do the whole UniExtract thing.
File won't download - says file doesn't exist
This doesn't even begin to compare to roboform's portable version.
Still looking for a freeware that works with Firefox as well as AI Roboform!
Ok, I made it home. Can't DL using I.E. It appears that the program just isn't there to download. The Download links for all of his programs end in a number. I can change the number and DL all of his other programs, including npassword for your desktop (number 42). I get page not found for the DL link ending in 43 (the usb version).
Oh, I forgot to add that I'm behind a corporate firewall. Also tried Opera. I will try again when I go home.
I tried to DL the "packed" version, which is the one for usb drives. After clicking on I Agree, I get a page not found error (I.E.). When I try to DL using Firefox, nothing happens after clicking on I Agree. This happens when I use the DL link on this page, and when going directly to the website.
unable to dl nPassword_v1.0.1.31.rar from[No links allowed] after click "I agreed" button in download page, unable to open site with mozilla firefox.
I have set the download link to the same as the website link just to be safe. You need to click on the "Download" button near the bottom of the page which will bring you to the license agreement page. Then click on "I agree", and you will be prompted with the "Save download" dialog box.
I had a problem with this application whereby when you first encrypt your database, if you happen to have a backup of the database, that backup does not get encrypted. It is an oversight, in my opinion. To solve it, you should delete any backups previous to encrypting (setting a password) on the database.
