I love it. Great software!

The only two things I have a problem with is the slow network speeds and that it uses the default windows copy even when I replaced it with something like TeraCopy.

Its a nice program, and fairly easy to use.

However, I've found one small bug as soon as I tried it. When you go into the "Organize Bookmarks" section, there is no SAVE feature, and none of the changes seem to take effect until you close the program and restart it.

To stop automatic update go to tools => options => etc => uncheck "Check updates when program starts"

OR

Before launch, create a file called "nexusfile.ini" and place it in a folder called "userdata" e.g userdata\nexusfile.ini

contents of nexusfile.ini:

[Operation]
CheckUpdate=0

I've come to really love the interface, bookmarks, and tabs, but the PA version had some serious instability problems on Win7x64. Will try the natively portable version.

webfork on 2012-06-02 02:09

Outstanding file manager for when you constantly work with a set list of folders. The tabbed interface, bookmarks, and ability to save sessions makes navigating folders easy and simple. I would have great difficulty on Vista/Win7 without it.

rodger123 on 2012-10-15 05:34

Portable version on authors site does not write to the registry at all-I like the stack feature as I can drag files there and then drag them to a folder on my external drive,a little buggy but very useful-could not live without it!

I just downloaded the program and ran it successfully, Shodan816.

Like Buckster, I prefer the two-pane features of FreeCommander, but lots to like in this program. Is it just me, or does there seem to more than the usual amount of unsubstantiated p*ssing on this program?

shodan816 on 2011-06-24 15:19

Indeed the download link seems to have been fixed. Thanks, IanFromBarrie.
